Shaping Luxury Hospitality Since 2000
An external team of professionals in luxury hospitality. An integral part of your hotel.
Senior expertise, trusted relationships and technology-enabled delivery, tailored to your hotel’s evolving needs.
With over 26 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Ingenia Direct combines Italian sensibility, senior expertise and established relationships with travel agents and international networks.
Our Bespoke Sales & Marketing Office is an external, remotely delivered service, fully integrated with your hotel. We build commercial readiness before opening or complement your existing department, tailoring our role to your priorities and evolving needs.
From positioning and branding to commercial representation, strategic marketing, digital communication and relationship development, we turn strategy into coordinated action. Our method combines personal engagement, software and AI-assisted workflows, with agreed objectives and regular reviews. We provide a managed service, not contact lists or software packages; technology supports rather than replaces human judgement.
For hotels preparing to open, we help put the commercial foundations in place before opening day: positioning, priority audiences and markets, sales materials, trade relationships, launch communications and a coordinated action plan.
This allows sales and marketing activity to begin during pre-opening, without waiting for every in-house role to be filled. As the hotel and its team develop, our contribution can evolve with them.
Every engagement begins with an understanding of the property, its ambitions, its people and its commercial priorities.
Together, we agree the responsibilities, working arrangements and measures of progress. Depending on the brief, our remit may include commercial planning, travel trade representation, relationship development, sales communications, digital marketing coordination and enquiry follow-up.
We work in close dialogue with ownership, management and relevant departments, using shared priorities, agreed approval processes and regular reviews. The service can be recalibrated as markets, seasons, resources and business needs change.
Remote describes where we work, not how closely we collaborate.
Our service draws on more than 26 years of experience in luxury hospitality and relationships developed with travel agents, travel designers and international networks.
These relationships inform a selective approach: identifying relevant partners, presenting each property with care and maintaining purposeful follow-up.
We do not sell contact lists. We undertake the work of building and nurturing commercial relationships around the character, positioning and ambitions of each hotel.
Our method combines senior judgement with appropriate software and AI-assisted workflows. Depending on the assignment, these can support research, relationship management, content preparation, opportunity tracking and reporting.
Technology is part of how we deliver the service—not a separate product the hotel is expected to operate. We work with existing systems where appropriate, while people remain responsible for decisions, communication and relationships.
We begin with the property and its priorities, agree a focused commercial plan, undertake the activities within our remit and review progress together.
Reporting focuses on agreed indicators, such as relevant trade conversations, qualified enquiries, follow-up progress and commercial opportunities. Booking outcomes are considered where the available data allows a meaningful connection to be established.
The aim is to strengthen market positioning, develop relevant demand and give the hotel greater continuity in its sales and marketing activity—without losing the individuality of its brand.
At Essence of Sardinia – Sarda Banda, Ingenia Direct represented two distinctive properties: SEXTANTIO Le Grotte della Civita, with its carefully restored cave accommodation in Matera’s Sassi, and DIMORA DASCANIO Masseria in Ostuni, Vincenzo Dascanio’s deeply personal, design-led expression of Apulian hospitality, scheduled to open in March 2027.
Different in character, they share a common thread: heartfelt hospitality, a genuine connection to place and a strong individual identity. In each, the experience grows naturally from the setting, its heritage and the people behind it, rather than an imposed narrative, luxury rooted in authenticity and experiences beyond conventional itineraries.
At Ingenia Direct, we believe that the most valuable opportunities begin with meaningful relationships.
Since 2000, we have connected exceptional hotels with international travel advisors and discerning travellers, bringing together trusted networks, strategic insight and a genuine passion for luxury hospitality.
Because lasting commercial success begins with human connections.
